Austin Christmon concentrates his practice in the areas of school law. Mr. Christmon represents the firm’s school district clients on a variety of matters, including special education, student discipline, collective bargaining agreements, procurement contracts, employee misconduct, teacher dismissals, and discrimination claims.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Savannah State University, an Historically Black College and University (HBCU) located in Savannah, Georgia. During Undergrad Mr. Christmon completed over 150 hours of community service mentoring and tutoring at local area public schools. Austin earned his Juris Doctorate at Florida A&M University College of Law, another HBCU located in Orlando, Florida. While in law school, he clerked for the Orange County Public Schools Law Department. He also dedicated over sixty hours of community service in mentoring at a local after school program during law school.
Mr. Christmon was a former Special Education Teaching Assistant for Chicago Public Schools at Harriet Beecher Stowe Elementary School for two years.
