Brandon L. Marshall
Brandon concentrates his practice in the areas of school law and labor and employment law. Mr. Marshall counsels clients on a variety of matters including employee discipline, student related issues, investigations, policies review, Open Meetings Act and Freedom of Information Act compliance issues, collective bargaining agreement negotiations, and transactional work including vendor contract review and competitive bidding review.
Prior to joining the Del Galdo Law Group, Mr. Marshall practiced criminal law and family law where he litigated bench and jury trials and participated in numerous arbitrations and mediations. Additionally, Mr. Marshall worked for several years at the City of Chicago Office of Inspector General, where he investigated allegations of fraud, theft and mismanagement and testified at personnel board hearings. As a Prosecutor with Chicago Public Schools, Mr. Marshall argued student expulsion and truancy hearings, and negotiated settlements between school officials, students, and parents.
Mr. Marshall earned his Juris Doctorate from The University of Florida, Levin College of Law, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History from Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida.
