Davina M. Hughes
Davina Hughes focuses her practice on School Law. Ms. Hughes counsels clients on a variety of matters regarding School Law including contract negotiations, labor and employment matters, and student related issues.
Ms. Hughes also has extensive experience counseling clients on zoning and permitting requirements for local municipalities as well as complex local, state and federal regulatory requirements. In addition, she has experience counseling clients on real estate transactions and drafting various leasing documents.
Ms. Hughes graduated from Saint Louis University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She earned her Master of Education, with an emphasis in Special Education, from the University of Missouri – St. Louis. Ms. Hughes received her Juris Doctor from Valparaiso University Law School. While in law school, she was a member of the Moot Court Society and competed in the William E. McGee National Civil Rights Moot Court Competition at the University of Minnesota Law School. In addition, she also participated in the Post Convictions Clinic at Valparaiso University Law School helping clients review their trial records and file for post-conviction relief.
