Town of Cicero honors Del Galdo Law Group 25th anniversary

Town President Larry Dominick and the Town of Cicero Board of Trustees on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, commemorated the 25th Anniversary of the Del Galdo Law Group LLC and its principle attorney Michael T. De Galdo.

The board unanimously approved a proclamation honoring Del Galdo for his nearly 20 years of service as the Town Attorney for the Town of Cicero and the celebration of the 25 years as a law firm.

President Dominick said that when he first met Del Galdo when he ran for Town President, he decided immediately that he would be his attorney and the attorney for the citizens of the community.

“He’s a very brilliant guy. I won the presidency in 05 that’s when I met Mike and five minutes after talking to him I decided he was the one for the town,” Town President Larry Dominick said.

He’s done a great job and it’s an honor to have him here”.

Trustees saluted Del Galdo during the meeting and praised him for his legal counsel.

“Thank you Mike. You and the Del Galdo Law Group are the best,” said Town Supervisor Joe Virruso.

Del Galdo expressed his gratitude to the board for honoring his law firms 25th Anniversary and his legal service to the Town.

“I was 31 years old when I was appointed by President Dominick as town attorney in 2005 and almost 20 years later, I’m still having the time of my life,” Del Galdo said.

“It’s been an honor and a privilege to represent the town. I look forward to many more years of service and most importantly the friendships and extended family members I have made in the process I’m most grateful for. Thank you very much”.

PROCLAMATION IN HONOR OF THE DEL GALDO LAW GROUP

WHEREAS, the Del Galdo Law Group is celebrating its 25th Anniversary in June of 2024; and

WHEREAS, the Del Galdo Law Group has been the Town Attorney for the Town of Cicero, Illinois for many years; and

WHEREAS, Michael T. Del Galdo has worked tirelessly on behalf of the Town and its residents in his role as Town Attorney; and

WHEREAS, the Del Galdo Law Group has provided the Town with invaluable assistance with municipal law, policy making, litigation, labor and employment matters, economic development, real estate, land use, public financing, negotiating and drafting contracts and overall counseling; and

WHEREAS, since its inception, the Del Galdo Law Group has served over 300 clients and employed over 30 attorneys; and

WHEREAS, the Town of Cicero has greatly benefited from its work with the Del Galdo Law Group and looks forward to many more years of fruitful partnership; and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that, President Larry Dominick and the Board of Trustees of the Town hereby honor the 25th Anniversary of the Del Galdo Law Group and expression their gratitude to Michael T. Del Galdo and his law group for many years of service and dedication on behalf of the Town of Cicero;

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be presented to Michael T. Del Galdo this 9th day of July, Tuesday, 2024.
