Chanelle Fagbemi

Chanelle Fagbemi joined Del Galdo Law Group as a litigation law clerk in 2024. In 2025, Chanelle received her J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law and began working on litigation matters as an attorney upon passing the bar.

Prior to law school, Chanelle graduated magna cum laude from Syracuse University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in information technology.

Chanelle was first introduced to litigation matters as a law clerk at the Law Office of the Cook County Public Defender. Thereafter, Chanelle became a student clinician for the University of Illinois Immigration Law Clinic and Intellectual Property Clinic. Additionally, Chanelle was a notes editor for the Elder Law Journal. She authored “Resurrected: Music Copyright and Estates in the Age of Generative AI,” which was selected for publication in Volume 16 of the American University Intellectual Property Brief. In her time at the University of Illinois, Chanelle was also vice president of the Black Law Students Association and continues to mentor current law students.
