Hannah Auten
Hannah Auten joined Del Galdo Law Group in 2022 as a law clerk. Hannah worked at Del Galdo Law Group throughout her time in law school, gaining substantial experience in the areas of election law, labor law, employment law, real estate law, litigation, and general municipal law. In 2024, Hannah passed the bar exam and began working for Del Galdo Law Group as an attorney.
Hannah graduated magna cum laude from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2024. While in law school, Hannah authored a note entitled "Reimagining Judicial Review of Student Requests for Remote Instruction as an ADA Accommodation in Higher Education," which was selected for publication in Volume 99.1 of the Chicago-Kent Law Review. At Chicago-Kent, Hannah received CALI Awards of Excellence for earning the highest grades in Legislative Advocacy, Torts, and Criminal Law. Hannah was also selected by Chicago-Kent faculty to be inducted into the Order of the Coif, a national scholastic legal society. Further, Hannah was selected to be a Kent Legal Scholar and was awarded a Rothstein Fellowship for her academic achievements in law school. Hannah was also a founding member of the Chicago-Kent Public Policy Law Society, a student organization aimed at supporting law students who wish to pursue a career in public policy.
Prior to working at Del Galdo Law Group, Hannah worked for the Illinois Speaker of the House of Representatives. Hannah has also worked in Washington D.C. as a law clerk for Senator Richard J. Durbin in his role as chair of the Senate Committee on the Judiciary. Additionally, Hannah has worked as a campaign manager and a consultant on a variety of state and local campaigns.
