Michael Weinstein

Michael Weinstein is a litigator serving primarily as defense counsel for public entities including municipalities, state agencies, and public officials in both State and Federal court. His practice focuses on general tort liability, constitutional claims, civil rights defense, and insurance defense.

Prior to joining the Del Galdo Law Group, Michael practiced at several Chicago litigation firms, where he represented aviation industry clients, railroads, public transportation companies, skilled nursing and independent living facilities, and corporate defendants in high-exposure civil matters.

Michael earned his J.D. from DePaul University, where he received the CALI Award for the highest grade in COVID-19 and Public Health Law, was named to the Dean’s List, and served as a 3L Senator for the Student Bar Association. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree from the University of Illinois, with a major in Consumer Economics & Finance and a minor in International Development Economics.
