Sean Hoffman

Sean M. Hoffman is a litigator licensed to practice law in Illinois and California. He represents municipalities and public entities in state and federal court. Prior to joining Del Galdo Law Group in 2024, Sean prosecuted building code violation cases for the City of Chicago Department of Law’s Drug and Gang House Enforcement Section, working with the Department of Buildings and Chicago Police Department to investigate and sue property owners with distressed properties and those permitting criminal activity to occur on their property. Before working for the City of Chicago, Sean served as a civil litigator and business counsel for boutique firms, represented residential landlords and tenants, and counseled small businesses and nonprofits.

A native of Chicago, Sean is a graduate of Kenyon College and Emory University School of Law. At Emory, he served on the Faculty Appointments Student Advisory Committee and was an officer and founding member of the Supreme Court Advocacy Project for which he led a team and authored briefs for clients appealing to the US Supreme Court. Sean completed clerkships with the United States Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Office of the Illinois Attorney General.

Sean is a Co-Chair of the Chicago Bar Association Chorus.
